Okkayyy, okay. I know. Christmas was over two weeks ago and this blog post is coming REALLY late! Between Ally having the stomach flu, then I got the stomach flu, wrapping, then catching colds, and so many things in between.. I’m slacking. And I know I wrote a post already about slacking.. forgive me!
Anyways, Christmas was a big success this year. Santa Clause definitely did not forget to stop at Miss Ally’s house. She got so many gifts, she had to take a nap before opening them all! For those of you with little munchkin’s, you know how it goes.. You have to open each toy and play with it for a while before having any interest in opening something else, then as soon as the wrapping paper from the next toy and ripped off, they have to open and play with that toy. At least that’s how my Al does it, :).
This child is obsessed with “neigh neigh’s!” I swear I didn’t teach her it either! She got a big doll house barn with new “neigh neigh’s” and it was probably the biggest hit out of all her toys, she looves it. It’s in her room now and she plays with it all the time, she loves “feeding” her ponies! I’m loving it. Future barn girl, for sure!
Christmas was a success, it was spent with family, lot’s of food, gift wrapping and opening, and just purely enjoying the Spirit of Christmas. Being a mom is so much better now that I have a little girl. Walking out to where the tree was Christmas morning with all the gifts under it, I had to make sure the night before everything was strategically placed under the tree, haha, and seeing her face light up.. there is nothing like it! When Ally first caught sight of the tree with the gifts under it she literally made a little gasp before she ran over to it! Truly melts my heart.
The tree is down now and I always miss seeing the glow of it, especially at night. It’s just such a beautiful sight. But now I have a little girls SECOND birthday, I can’t believe it, to prepare for in a month!! The quickest two years of my life, no doubt. Oh and before I forget, it didnt snow the whole month of December AND it was 45 and sunny out the day after Christmas.. the mitten state is a little confused this year.
And Happy New Year everyone!
