It’s That Time Of Year Again

It’s that time of year again..

It’s almost winter. At least here in the mitten it is. Halloween is tomorrow and I can’t wait to dress my little lady up as the cutest Minnie Mouse in the entire world and take her out for the first time, trick or treating! Last year she was obviously a baby and too young, but you can bet she was dressed in a cute little Halloween outfit and tutu though. 😉

Anyways, winter is basically on our doorstep. Which would be fine and dandy, if it just didn’t last so long! Or at least maybe if it’s not as brutal as last year. Oh my gosh, I can’t even stand to think about seeing snow mounds still lingering around pushing into May again.. ugh. Let’s hope not.

But, it is that time, cold weather wear has officially been pulled out of the closets and I’ve stocked up Ally’s closet with winter clothes for this year. She is like a walking Carter’s advertisement, I swear. Leaves are almost off the tree’s and I’ll be doing my best to come up with winter activities to keep my munchkin busy and happy.

On a positive note, winter IS almost here, which also means plenty of holidays to look forward to. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and any other holiday you may celebrate. As a new mom, that always excites me. Ally now gets to celebrate her 2nd round of major winter holidays, new memories to make sure that are full of love and joy for her to think back on year after year, that’s a goal of mine. She may be too young to remember this year, but that’s certainly not the point now is it?! Holidays are another reason to pull out the camera a little more often, too. 😉

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, who doesn’t love the beautiful colors? And Michigan definitely did not disappoint with beautiful weather and leaves this year, we got lucky, we didn’t get blown away with wind, storms and crap weather the moment the leaves turned pretty! They lasted and we actually got to enjoy them. Thank goodness because I got plenty of good photos of Miss Ally this fall. 🙂
